The Ricoh Arena is home to Wasps RFC and Wasps Netball and the former home of Coventry City FC. The stadium has a capacity 32,753 but can be expanded to 40,000 for concerts and was built in 2005 at a cost of £113 million. In 2009, the Ricoh Arena became the first stadium in the United Kingdom to become the first cashless stadium, however, now you can use cash at every kiosk.

History
The ground is made up of 4 stands: West Stand, East Stand, South Stand and the Alan Higgs Charity Stand following Wasps buying the Alan Higgs Charity share of the stadium. On the site, you have the Ericsson Exhibition Hall to hold major events along with a hotel, casino, club store and Arena Shopping Park.
Coventry City FC previously played at the Ricoh Arena between the years of 2005-2013 and 2014-2019, however, left the stadium due to a rent dispute. Coventry City’s Ladies Football team also played in the stadium over the course of 2014.
Three International football matches have taken place at the stadium including two Under 21 matches along with one Under 19’s match. Twelve Olympic football matches also took place during London 2012 including the bronze medal match between France and Canada.
Numerous other sporting events have taken place at the Ricoh Arena with the 2013 Davis Cup, Champion of Champions snooker tournament, American football and rugby league along with 3 events at the 2022 Commonwealth Games: Rugby Sevens, Wrestling and Judo.
Concerts that have taken place at the Ricoh Arena are Bryan Adams, Oasis, Scouting for Girls, Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band, Multiplay’s Insomnia Festival, Rihanna, MTV Crashes, Chase & Status, Kaizer Chiefs, The Chainsmokers, Catfish and the Bottlemen, the Rolling Stones, Mick Jagger, The Spice Girls, Bon Jovi, Muse, Take That, Pink and The Best.
