Murrayfield Stadium is located in Edinburgh, Scotland and is the home of the Scottish National rugby team and Edinburgh Rugby. The ground has a capacity of 67,144 and opened in 1925 followed by numerous renovations totalling a cost of over £50 million which made it the fifth biggest stadium in the United Kingdom. Previous tenants include American football side Scottish Claymores who discontinued in 2004.

History
13 Rugby World Cup matches have taken place at Murrayfield Stadium in the 1991, 1999 and 2007 editions of the tournament. Teams that have played at the ground in a World Cup game are Spain, Japan, Zimbabwe, Ireland, Western Samoa, England, South Africa, Uruguay, New Zealand and Romania.
The Edinburgh 7s was played at the ground between the years of 2007 and 2011 along with the IRB Sevens World Series (before it moved to Glasgow in 2012.) In 2005 and 2009, Murrayfield held the Heineken Cup finals where Toulouse beat Stade Français and Leinster beat Leicester respectively.
In 2000 and 2002, Murrayfield hosted the Rugby League Challenge Cup along with the rugby league Super League Magic Weekend in 2009. Football matches have also taken place at the ground in the past including Heart of Midlothian using the ground as their home ground for European matches to fulfil the UEFA requirement of minimum capacity.
In July 2007, Hibernian played a pre-season friendly against FC Barcelona in a sellout match. Celtic also played two games in 2014 due to their stadium being unavailable along with their Scottish League Cup semifinal against Hearts in 2018. Liverpool faced Napoli at the ground in 2019 which was the highest attendance at any Scottish football match since 1989.
Musicians that have held concerts at Murrayfield include David Bowie, Tina Turner, U2, The Rolling Stones, Celine Dion, Oasis, Bon Jovi, Madonna, One Direction, Foo Fighters and The Spice Girls.
