Twickenham Stoop Stadium was built in 1963, has a capacity of 14,800 and is the home of Rugby Union side Harlequins. Other sides that have made The Stoop their home are London Scottish in 1998/99 and London Irish in 1999/00 The stadium is across the road from England’s 82,000 seater home ground Twickenham.

History
The ground is built of 4 stands which are the IG stand, DHL stand, South stand and North stand. There are plans to increase the capacity to 25,000 in the near future at a development cost of £50 million.
The 2010 Women’s Rugby World Cup final was held at Twickenham Stoop where New Zealand beat England 13-10. In 2015, Twickenham Stoop held the World Rugby Women’s Seven Series with all matches being played at the ground except for the third-place playoff and the cup final which was played at Twickenham Stadium due to it’s higher capacity.
Many England Women’s matches are played at the stadium including Six Nations games and Autumn International Series games. The 2016 Women’s Premiership final was also held at Twickenham Stoop for the first time.
Numerous rugby league matches have also taken place at the stadium with New Zealand vs Australia the most notable event in their 2009 Four Nations tournament. The London Broncos also played at the stadium for a brief time before being renamed to Harlequins RL. Oxford and Cambridge University played at the ground in the annual Rugby League Varsity Match which took place at the ground between the years of 2006 and 2011.
The Stoop has hosted music events since Summer 2017 with Elton John and Little Mix some of the biggest names that have performed at the ground. Stadium bosses wanted to establish the stadium as a music venue as well as being a sporting venue with more music events to come in the future.
